AI art is one thing, but AI graphic design will be a trickier thing I think. With design, it needs to be very intentional and files must be usable such that any designer can pick it up and make edits or use the asset. Current AI image makers are good at making "paintings" in that it's a sum of pixels to make a shape, but what about micro edits needed? What about a usable and clean vector format for print? What about final finishing for high-res print? Can it do the ultra detailed work that a fashion retoucher does to individual skin pores? I think AI will be used well for general conceptualization, but I don't think it can necessarily get to the finish line the way a designer can.
