Well, I'm not against using AI as a tool. I don't as I use plain old techniques, both digitally and with classical medium.
But the problem with AI art is the lask of creativity. Everything is just a copy or mishmash of already existing elements.
The nice part is when somethings interesting cromes from an AI creation, creators show immediately some interest and competence.
The adaptability of the human mind is astonishing. True, AI can be quicker and create an image in a matter of seconds. But processing something to make it an expression of the human mind is and will stay more interesting, even with less amazing aestetic results.
Still, it's nice to see that inspiration can go both ways.
