Anyone else heard the report about previous generations being smarter than current generations because there weren't any scientific calculators with equations pre-programmed in it? You actually had to learn your X tables & formulas. There wasn't even a spell checker than alone an AI to write essays/research papers for you. You actually had to learn spelling/grammar. On top of that they actually had to finish books during summer break & get this, reading comprehension went up AND kids were more articulate do to the vocab learned from reading actual books😮. Now kids barely have the attention span for a paragraph .
