I'd heard your art was used to train an AI, but I had no idea it was this bad. I am so sorry to hear that this happened to you. I don't think any of my work has been used yet, but as an aspiring concept artist/illustrator who literally just dropped out of normal school to study art, this whole thing makes me so angry. Like... I agree, AI is an incredible technology, and it can definitely be a good tool, but until it's ethical, artists, and other people affected have EVERY RIGHT to protest against it. People have no right to use other people's art. Just because it's posted on the internet doesn't mean it's free for everyone to use. Even if people do fanart of my own ocs, I still ask for permission to use it, for example, on my website. That should just be the done thing, and if people say no, THEN TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER. Like... is it really that hard? We just live in a society that promotes theft and laziness, and AI will only make that worse if this keeps up.
