Psychological tests (which is what that compass looks like) are almost without fail built on very sloppy science and a complete lack of understanding of how to do actual statistics.
They are often counterproductive in HR, and I'm not surprised at all it's the same problem here. Also, this has been known for several decades.
Unfortunately it seems that sloppy science together with greed is a working formula in US justice... *Shudder*
