A lot of the conversation was based on AGI but the 15 minutes of actually building that point were far from conclusive.
For practical purposes, even on the cutting edge, AI isn't evolving at that speed in practice. Far from that. Don't forget companies compete on benchmarks, not utility.
There's a lot of technical bottlenecks around the technology & a LOT of hype (AI is still in the market penetration stage 🤷♂) but to a massive extent this feels like AI was just catching up to modern hardware capabilities. Especially for a million-dollar industry that recently got a trillion-dollar cash injection.
