Young artists learning from other artists and taking inspiration isn't hurting the artist actually drawing the art. Instead of using free for comcercial use art to learn from, like with music, AI's steal other people's art without their consent and without properly compensating the people who actually created the pieces. And of course since AI art isn't perfected, they have been several instances where the art produced form the AIs are so eerily close the stolen piece, that it could be an infringement of copyright laws. This is also hurting the businesses of and livelyhoods of artist who draw to make a living. Young artists, are watching what other artists are doing and putting in the work to developering their own skills, and if they were draw another artists piece, such as a dtiys, they still properly credit the originator and make it know that they are not the original artist. AI art isn't a trend, it's really hurting real people; if you look it up, artist, illustrators and character designers, are already being let go and replaced by AI. Just imagine, putting so much time and work into something you're passionate about, years of experience, and criticism for even pursuing art in the first place, and it then have everything you've worked for snatched from your hands and given to machine without any warning or credit or compensation. . . . . . (Sorry if this sounds like a rant or a drag. I got real passionate there😅)
