As an artist who cannot use my imagination for mental images, references are always my go to. And I will NEVER use ai for that. If I need inspiration, I use photographs, still frames from video, and other artists' work. If I made art for distribution, I would be using Nightshade or similar technologies for the same reasons mentioned in this video.
