What I find interesting is the market for AI. What you see in software industries with close to zero marginal costs, e.g. cloud storage, music and video streaming, games, is that prices converge spontaneously to much the willingness to pay, not to exploit price elasticity, because people look for features and that 's what drives competition. As a result, consumer will be milked by these companies, so his realisation that those few companies that employ relatively few staff will need to give back to humanity is quite on point. I also like his insight that it's mostly a short-run adaptation problem. Most of history, there weren't many white-collar jobs to begin with, so we can go back to those times. AI won't do plumbing, and robots will always be used for maximum return, so we can go back to manual, productive work. I'm personally looking forward to that.
