I see the point but wouldn’t the same thing apply to story characters? Let me explain. A character has to struggle through numerous situations and things that may put them down but in the end they win, but it’s already scripted for that character to win, and it’s already scripted for that person to never lose even if they go through stuff, yeah a character may fight someone or do something that may be impossible at the time but it’s scripted to where they would just win anyways. Sure ai art isn’t art but I feel like it’s a tool to help people understand what they want to display without having to burn themself out or hire someone to do something, they can just generate it. Again for people who are quick to comment, I don’t believe Ai art is art but it’s a tool a tool used for when you want something done quick and easily, another thing I want to say is isn’t learning art from people photos the same thing ai does? It just takes certain aspects from art and tries to push out an image using that aspect, just like an artist getting someone’s else’s artwork and trying to use certain aspects to draw what they want with it I mean Ai art isn’t real art but that doesn’t mean that hating it is a good thing just because it can illustrate someone in a quick manner without having to struggle, I mean it is a robot after all it is programmed to do work without struggle for example, if you hired a cleaning person to do something you wouldn’t want them to struggle because they may do something wrong, but a robot programmed to do something and it doesn’t struggle is objectively better than someone who struggles to do something perfectly, Ai isn’t better than normal people I mean most Ai art is lifeless but I don’t think being angry at the idea that it can create pretty complex art in a small amount of time should be considered a bad thing, because you can easily generate images and stuff for meetings in work offices without having to draw it yourself or give a confusing explanation in words. I just think that it’s supposed to be boring and it’s supposed to be straight ahead and not have any depth to it because it is a tool not something that should be looked into deeply for any kind of purpose or meaning.
