The thing is - AI replaces SO MUCH in our life like nothing beforehand ever did, thats what makes it so scary imho. The computer made so much stuff easier but it still required humans to execute most of it. It just made analog stuff digital but the stuff was still there. Yes, we did not go to the theatre but to the movies instead but we still go somwhere. With AI its different. So many jobs are reliant on computers nowadays but most of these jobs will not go away or be replaced only the humans that re responsible for the specific task gets replaced by AI. Thats whats scary - we do not replace jobs with something else we just get rid of the necessity of a human to do it but the proces remains!
