One thing that truly baffles me is the concept of ai “artists” that make ai images not for commercial use of anything, but for the sake of calling it art and displaying it. Isn’t art supposed to be about the process of making it in the first place and the feelings you experience while you do so? What do you feel when you click a button and enter some keywords? Is that why you will never experience true satisfaction while you scroll and scroll and scroll through ai images, searching for the perfect one? Can there ever be a “journey” to a destination like this?
