You know, AI can indeed be a great tool for learning and augmenting yourself. But for that to work, welll...you already need to know, what you are doing xD (also, the AI tools in e.g. Photoshop are complete and utter rubbish - which should be obvious to anyone with EYES) There are different faces to the problem. The one I became familiar with first is apparently called "vibe coding" now. Which is people using AI for software development - copypasta style, with no quality control (🤦🏻). Which doesn't work, because it's either nonsensical, redundant, unreadable, or all of them together. Aaand most of the training data is stolen works as well... The problem is not with AI itself. It's with companies doing unethical stuff on one hand. And with people trying to skip the "learn, fail and develop skills" part on the other hand. One solution to the company part could be artists/developers/voice actors/etc. being able to license their work as training data. Meaning, that you get paid for as long as the model uses your work. And the result also actually referencing the work it is derived from. Just spitballing, though.
