Hell, I don't care about the output of AI. If it was just that I would laugh at both idiots for arguing over this...
The issue is not the output but the source. AI illegally scrapes (and AI companies pirate) other people's work to train their product on, offer no compensation so just outright steals the material, then markets it to us to further train it for them.
Then cities with huge AI set ups tell people to only run their ACs in an emergency yet the AI farms run tirelessly.
It is the ethics smart people should be concerned about, not the quality of the end result.
