The only issue I have with people saying "AI is Theft" Ai doesn't "stitch" anything together. AI more so blends layers or objects together in order to get results otherwise the hand deformations or artifacts you see in AI images wouldn't exist if it were just stitching them. Also the AI program itself is not at fault it's the users who CHOOSE to make AI create the stuff it does. I call these people AI ABUSERS. The true and proper way to use AI (in my opinion) is as enhancements. AI is NOT a requirement, it's an option but only if used properly. AI "art" generators are used wrong. For example, you take a picture with a low quality camera you can use AI to remove noise, or if you are brainstorming an idea you could have ai help refine your ideas. it's NOT to make your art for you. it's meant as a way to HELP YOU improve your art. giving ideas. otherwise any form of reference should be considered copyright, and 3D artists like myself shouldn't be allowed for "tracing" our references when modelling. Sure free hand is a style but MOST artists use references. AI is NOT a requirement, it's an option. 2 examples of how I personally would use AI. 1. is that I would give a prompt for something I myself want to make and use that as a reference for what I WILL make. and 2. cleaning up lines or denoising images to make crisper or cleaner outputs.
