With the increasing availability of the cheap, destructive capabilities of drones, for example, small enemy countries, non-state terrorist groups, etc., and the complexity this problem presents, the solution is clear. We need more and more to put our defense in the hands of increasingly powerful and intelligent AI. To me that seems all upside; in fact, I can't really even imagine a potential downside.
