I'm a disabled artist. I have tremors and really bad mental issues that make it hard to finish my art. I draw digitally with a mouse. I also take ai images of many different styles, cut parts outta it, overlap those parts, change the opacity (overlaying them like a messy pile of crap), and then make line art off of it for things like potions and background things. I dont use it for making my own characters and use real life refs for that, which i also tend to cut out parts i want of and then overlay them to make the crap i want to make. If ai is gonna steal from people, then imma steal from ai is my mentality. making it my own thing afterwards is the hardest part. It can be done though. sometimes it takes like 20 ai images overlaid to make the shit into something unreal and different, but i still do it. it takes me a day or more to make art that i make this way. and, yes, i also make art not using references or overlaying ai art and just let my brain spit crap out, but that tends to look radically different cause i think in scribbles. my hands draw in scribbles cause of my disability. i have to use line tools to make clean lines afterwards. most people when i make art this way dont understand what is going on and it makes no sense to them. I wonder if i could confuse the heck outta ai using just my sketch work sometimes. art made this way takes me about an hour or 2. Tldr: I make collage art but digitally, but im redrawing the collage pictures after mixing them in a digital blender and i have tremors and mental illness. I like to steal from ai cause ai steals from us, call me sly cooper.
