I think this video has a few issues. Mainly, that it is spreading hate agianst something that allready exsists. Let me give you a quick drive by, since our dear Artist here is forgetting some really important points. That beeing sad, i am in no way biased here. I stumbeld upon this vid at random and am a Software engineer myself. I drew a lot from hand since i've been a kid, but i never really could get to a point of really beeing "good" at drawing. I to this day posses a drawing tablet which is use probally every 3 Months for 2-4 days. Now that you know my position, let's continue. First of Image generating AI is trained from your Art. That is no secret at all. However AI is not like a reposter, that just takes your Art and duplicates it, it probally can, but that isn't what it is normally doing. If you are aware of how exactly AI works you understand, that AI's have a "warm or cold" setting which allows them to Deviate from the promts given. This leads to something completly new, depending on how much "freedom" you give the AI. As for what AI is used aswell: there are ppl in this world who don't have artistic talent, or due to their occupation don't have the time or engery to create works of art that they want. Many ppl. use AI to create something for themselves. Deepfakes are a problem. I have no issue with that point, however it is something that can really easily be worked agianst if you are aware of how to as a programmer or engineer and it is allready beeing done. To get back to the point at hand tho, my problem with this video is not the image poisining, by god it is you art and you can do whatever the fck you want with it. However spreading hate agianst something that other ppl. created (AI also needed to be createt, it didn't pop into exsistense, and trust me it took way more work than any painting every imaginable) is not the right way to go. Making noise and awareness to the abuse of AI is amazing. Spreading hate agianst it, is not. Never will be and never is. Since this is an Artists Channel, i expect to offend most of the ppl. reading this, so please take not that i am not attacking anyone here, i am simply stating, that AI can be a usefull tool and that spreading hate is not a good way to go into the future.
