This is ridiculous, and I know it from experience. I was always considered generally talented since i used to grasp a lot of things very quickly, and when it came to art I used to draw everyday. My sister on the other hand was not talented. She didn't grasp many things as quickly, it didn't come naturally to her, but she still drew and she had me as a goal to reach. Fast forward a couple of years. She had surpassed me, not only in art, but in other fields too, and now I'm the one looking out in envy and little desire to be better. The difference is persistence and the desire and passion to improve. This is something i truly envy about her and wish i had. And i did try out AI art to test and see what's possible, and honestly, it never managed to capture what i envision, and it was always a matter of what you want can compromise. It just feels like it strives to be overly detailed and at the same time is extremely sloppy. If i want a drawing of something, I'd rather draw it on my own. At least that way it feels like it's mine.
