I understand the frustration and fear AI art causes. I am an artist myself. But AI art doesn't really use your particular piece of art to generate new art, it has been trained similar to a real artist by distilling the essence of all the art it has seen. Is it immoral when a human artist studies your publicly available art to train him or herself into being a better artist? Every artist is in some way a conglomeration of all the art they have ovserved foltered through through own idiosyncratic point of view. I think we just have to accept AI is here to stay and it's only going to get better and better. Yes this will be disruptive to all kinds of industries, but the potential is incredible. The genie isn't going back into the bottle. Well all just have to learn to adapt as best we can.
