as an artist i think the idea of art being something that has monetary value is insulting to the genre as a whole and artists who hyper focus on this are questionable artists. ai is just a tool. ai cannot "create" anything it just generates a response to input it received. i think the problem isn't ai vs human art it's that art has become less of an expression and more of a commodity that can be exploited. and thus is has
why not question the exploitation itself? expose the companies that exploit art and weaponize psychology against human beings. everyone has become so aggressive about stopping the symptoms but not solving the problem
