Many people who are discussing this topic in public seem to have a skewed view of AI replacing jobs. They are saying "would'nt you like it better if your grunt work was done by AI" but its not grunt work, its the whole work, the full job. What if the newscaster was replaced by an AI, they would appear on Media, life like, with natural voices, and would she still advocate for AI?
There is surely a BIG disconnect from going to point A deploying AI to point B where everyone is getting paid for nothing because AI is doing everything.
