These companies have the profits to invest in part because they are not taxed enough. Presently, ordinary Americans are subsidizing the energy bill that AI requires. AI companies should be heavily taxed.
People can control the future. Stop buying anything from Amazon. Don’t use a driverless car. Every dollar is a vote. Vote not to go to a restaurant with a robot server. What if these companies invested billions and we refused any of their productivity?
I tell people I can predict the future. They say prove it. I say that in 5 seconds this glass of water will be on the floor. And then I push it!
