AI art can't be commercialized, it can't be sold. I doubt we'll ever get over the things with copyright because given how it works (you know by stealing a bunch of stuff the companies had no permission to train on), you can't copyright it as the user writing the prompt (Lmao what work did you put in???, about the same effort of an image ID alt text honestly-), the AI can't hold the copyright for obvious reasons (Ain't sentient yet!) and not even the company should be able to keep it since again, they used data they weren't allowed to!! (Please let us sue them pleeeeease)
And if the copyright law continue to be the (rather) archaic but somewhat straight-forward system that it currently is? There's zero place for AI art in it getting those. And these are just the facts. It's about time those begin to get enforced tbh, I can't fucking wait! If Miyazaki sued them that'd be hilarious.
