The worst part is AI and its capabilities are only possible from the enormous amount of data that we feed into it. Often they data aren't even public domain and have copyrights to such data. And they continue to feed data that are bought or stolen from consumers with the public being rather unaware. Since we all gave enable the capabilities it should be benefiting everyone not just the owners and shareholders. Don't forget how OpenAI and chatGPT started out, they were nonprofit aimed for the betterment of humanity but look how it shifted when it realized it is a front runner and can capitalize on this at all of our expense. I'm not saying AI is not good but how its being used and where the benefit goes should be for carefully examined
