I'm sorry, but if you've lost your job to AI, your job never really mattered that much. The internet is full of these "blogs" created purely for SEO purposes, where providing value is not a consideration. What useful article can a freelance writer create if they can write about anything and are an expert in nothing? My company still pays human writers for such a blog, and the writing they output is terrible. I'm not surprised AI can replace them in producing low quality articles. What AI can't replace is people who know what they are writing about. People who create articles that have meaning and serve a purpose, not just look article-y enough. People who can vouch that what they have written is comprehensive and correct. I'm not going to trust an AI to write an article that actually guides people in doing something non-trivial. I'm not going to trust an AI to make an investor pitch deck Powerpoint. I'm not going to trust an AI to translate legal documents. AI writes articles that just need to be there. Humans write articles that actually need to be read. So yeah, it's now not enough to just do what anyone can do. It's not enough to be able to write to have a job. Add to that being able to take responsibility for what you've written, and having knowledge about the subject matter, and suddenly you can earn money again. But sometimes that's not necessary, and those jobs have been lost.
