Pretty good vid, but if you want to see applications for AI you have to take your head out of the sand. If you are in an industry that doesn't need to use AI then you won't know anything about those that do. My advice is to try your hand at something incredibly difficult - say, a predictive client authoritative server networking system in C++. Try and code it yourself and see how far you get.
A solo network engineer would struggle, but if you put AI in their hands then their output is doubled. Same goes for pattern recognition in DNA structures, Alpha Fold, synthetic material creation, physics simulations... all of these fields would take decades (and billions of dollars) more to discover what AI has already uncovered.
I know it's popular to rag on AI, but if you had any idea of careers outside your own you would know that there are innumerable applications for it.
