AI can be really useful. I use AI almost every other day. It cuts my research time to a fraction of what I would have spent looking something up. I think most people are using AI wrong. It's a great research assistant. I would be lost without it. There's been so many times I've given up looking something up because I couldn't find it. I wasn't explaining the issue the right way. but to use it to do all the work with a finished product. At that point. its not your work. its just lazy. I do think you have a tiny bit of a hate blinder on about AI. But I think that has a lot to do with how you are seeing people using it. You make a lot of extremely good points about AI and art. But to give you an example of some of the things that I've used AI for. I was having an issue with my new pc. I spent a week trying to research what was going on. I went to AI and explained exactly what was going on with my PC and found out it was a graphical issue and gave me information on how to fix it. I don't think I would have found the solution any other way. I was about to give up. take my PC to a shop and spend money to get it fixed. dropping close to $100.
