This AI thing is a massive nothing burger. The reason it is such a thing is that it’s a massive gaslight by industrialists and company owners trying to undermine labours negotiating power. I’m a programmer with over 20 years experience. No one knows my job better than a software dev does, so let me tell you right now…. We have had expert systems aiding us in developing software for decades. I regularly pick already written algorithms of google on a daily basis. My value add is to know when to do something… Good luck all you second guessers. Time will prove me right.
