This is the real existential threat posed by AI.
I've seen so many videos speculating on the dangers of AI and they always go into some Sky Net like scenario where computers become sentient and turn on humans. This may be a possibility but it seems very unlikely.
Massive job loss doesn't seem unlikely at all. In fact, it seems inevitable. This is what people should be worried about, which is probably why corporate news and the entertainment industry barely mention this kind of the future. Instead they focus on a far fetched Terminator apocalypse - that is - if they even do negative coverage of AI at all.
