A lot of markets where artwork is sold thrive because of the artists who contribute there, and now these places run the risk of being flooded with a deluge of ai generated content, ruining the space for everyone. If these markets ban ai generated content they run the risk of being targeted by the pro-ai mob. Obviously, pro-ai individuals just want to be seen as artists, but as a movement they are playing a role in either turning these art markets into ai dominated slop outlets, or destroying them entirely. This is not something that anyone who actually likes art and wants to create it should want.
