I feel this is just a temporary solution and the AI programmers will simply come up with an "anti-nightshade" filter and proceed with business as usual. The solution, as I see it, is stronger legislation and requirement on all AI art to be denoted as such and provide a prioritized list of references of what the strongest training input was for each piece of art as well as allowing artists to copyright strike each piece of art that was using their training images without permission, even if it ended up with 0.1% of influence on the final product.
Still, it's good to see artists fighting back.
