You can be born with TALENT, but even that's pretty rare. Skill though isn't something you can just inherit from genetics- A few of my family members can draw really damn well and so can I, but my art is not influenced by my genes. It's because they taught me that just because I had a rough starting point, it doesn't mean I should give up. No one's born with the ability to draw. I know I was atrocious, but I still kept at it, and little by little, it got me to where I am now. Am I the best artist I can be? Hell no, I've still got a ways to go. But I'm not giving up because it's a passion of mine. AI can create art (if that's what you wanna call it) but it can never create the satisfaction that an artist gets when they create a piece they're proud of. When they don't need anyone else's approval to know they did an awesome job.
