The fact that videos like this are being made suggests we're heading into the Trough of Disillusionment.
Also, a recent paper suggests that the reason AIs hallucinate is because of the way they're trained, ie, "I don;'t know" is treated the same as a bad answer, so the AI is incentivized to make shit up because "I don't know" gets punished in training. So maybe hallucinations will be reduced by new training methods.
