you know if that lead-driver platoon crap is picked up it is not a good solution and that a huge proportion of the workforce is still cut. And let us not pretend that platoons would be a living wage/better job. Is that driver now liable and accountable for THREE TRUCKS? Is he/she renting and insuring all THREE TRUCKS? Total bullshit. The unions better snap to. Now. And get your reps involved by finding out if any of these autonomous truck companies are based out of or looking to startup in your state! Then write or call your reps-come on it is not too hard! And it is better to email them repeatedly, bc calls don't have a paper trail and are easy to ignore in the case of reps who don't actually do their jobs of REPRESENTING. Make them rep you by repping yourself and your needs and wants.
