Bernie, you are old enough to remember when electricity was being widely adopted. More specifically when electricity was being used in factories. It was first met with low enthusiasm. When people started to recognize what it could do for productivity it became widely adopted. In this new era of AI, we need to lean into it. We need to shape the growth of AI and as you say, "Ro-butts". If we run around in a state of panic and fear of the unknown, we can't effectively shape the future of AI and how it affects the future of the workforce. It's to refocus are skills to fit the new evolution in technology. Rather than complaining that AI will take computer science jobs and effectively kill the study of computer sciences, we need to teach the students on how to leverage AI in architectural decisions and managing agents. Don't propagate fear. Drive progress.
