Ai is a tool to use like anything else, it’s meant to be used as reference points, it’s meant to break through art blocks, it helps you overall think of something faster. Artists complaining about A.I art are delusional, if you don’t think this will replace the overall efficiency and proficiency when it comes to making art, in that aspect. You can sit around here all day, and mope and complain about AI, but at the end of the day, no matter how much you do that, it doesn’t change anything. Besides, the end product is usually the artist who is creating it. (The good ones who don’t copy). Now, that being said, I do understand the implications, and the plagiarism that does go around when using AI art, however, it’s a small group of individuals who use AI to do that overall . I’m not justifying what they do, I am absolutely against anybody taking Art from somebody and then calling it theirs. everybody has to get over their feelings and just see that A.I. When it comes to DALLE and other things like Midjourney, is a tool it will NEVER replace a human, it will never replicate us truly. I have been drawing by hand and I understand the work it takes to make a perfected piece. The hours it takes, the long nights of coming up with ideas just to see if it makes sense, the constant redoing of sketches or character or what have you, to get the image you want. I get why artists are upset, but upset as you may get, reality will set in and it will become part of society like many other things that came before, so while I can relate, I am not delusional to this. The faster you guys realize this, the better off you will be. On another note, on LinkedIn and many other social media platforms, I have seen many people, especially those who work in Webtoons have admitted that they do use AI but only for making pages and stuff. So you can’t knock it and again, isn’t art subjective? Wasn’t that one of the lessons taught?
