I have had a CDL and worked as a trucker or in the trucking industry for over 15 years now, and I cannot understand how anyone with a CDL could ever not make money driving. It is the hardest thing to do. You could trip and fall into an 80k a year OTR job in a heartbeat. If you want to work, there is work out there. Do the job, and make the money. Yes, even with a handful of self-driving trucks, there are still millions of loads a day, we aren't getting replaced anytime soon, shut up and drive.
