How long have we been warned about exactly this? Nearly a century? Did we listen? NO, of course not. Because we're a stupid, shallow, self-centered species that refuses to listen or look ahead if it's in the SLIGHTEST way inconvenient. We've handed our culture and our world to a handful of psychopaths who have no care at all about anyone other than themselves and their own egos. And here we are. I mean, look at this guy - he's acknowledging the danger, but he's STILL making excuses for why it's a "good thing". WE ARE F**KING DOOMED. But am I sympathetic? F**K NO. We've been hurtling towards our own destruction, whistling a happy tune while we jack off to our own magnificence, and now Karma's coming for us. Good riddance. We're termites, and the planet will be FAR better off without us.
