I’d like to add to this that art isn’t just a human exclusive thing, a lot of animals (specifically birds) display artistic traits in the form of mating rituals. They’ll create their own individualistic, vibrate nests or arrange foods in a certain way to appeal to the female. Same with Pufferfish. Painting is also used as enrichment for animals in captivity.
This goes to show that it’s not humanity that makes art, its existence. To live and experience the world around you and at this time (hopefully not ever) AI doesn’t have that.
