people who compare digital drawing tools to ai clearly have never used the former. i am no artist but i used to want to be one. i found art frustrating and felt like i was being limited by the pen and paper. when i got a drawing tablet i was slapped in the face by the cold hard realization that even when all the conviniences of a drawing tablet ( ctrl + z, layers, having literally all the colors) i just wasnt very talented. digital art is nice but it doesnt do the job for you, you still need to know anatomy, coloring, shading, etc. AI *does* do the work for you. the most skills you need to be an AI artist is photoshop skills to fix the AI's fuck ups, something that is also benifical to digital artists lmao
