I don't entirely disagree that AI is a tool, but you don't get to say that when the AI art is your final product.
Someone who generates images from prompts is very different from someone who generates images from prompts to use as a base and then paints/photo bashes over them, the latter could be a concept artist who uses this to speed up his workflow while the former is just a prompt monkey.
