I am a disabled writer (yes, whether it's picture or writing, the argument is the same) and I am STRONGLY against generative AI being seen as an art medium. It's not. AI is very useful for organizing and stuff in my everyday life, it helped me tremendously with tasks I struggle with. But NOT art. Art is a personal expression. It comes from inside yourself, you CAN'T generate it. Asking ChatGPT to help you plan your week or meals or write an administrative email is perfectly fine, but if people think replacing artists with computers is the solutions to their problem, they'll soon get a wake up call. The quality is ass, and even if it improves, it's just a copy, it has no soul, it can't create something new but only replicate from what already exists.
