The 32 hour (I would even say 20 hour) work week, with no pay cuts, is THE solution. Companies can afford it with what they save with automation. Also, for those human jobs that remain, they would have to hire 2 people to do the work currently done by 1. Finally, people can keep their sense of purpose through work with the great addon of having more time for family, friends, leisure, etc. We'll just have to convince every country on earth to do it.
