What keeps me amazed with all this doom and gloom is the fact that all american cultural output is concentrated on having violence as the answer. Be it movies, books or tv-series', violence is the only solution and only those who are the most violent survive. However, it has been proved time and again, how in dire situations people tend to turn into helpful society, helping those in need and taking care of those who cannnot take care of themselves.
If we think of AI or aliens from outer space, if they encounter US first, they will kill everyone for sure. The society is so deeply into violence and violent reactions that it is the only solution.
