I did a systems analysis degree 25 years ago and I realised this was the likely possibility of progression. Of course when I said it then, I was deemed what is now called a conspiracy theorist or as then called a nutter. However, the human condition has many major flaws, on of which is the ability to arrive at a place where we live in a bubble. Our life is important, my income is important, my success is paramount and every thing else is someone else’s problem. The only way for the world to survive is to become united, no borders, no conflicts, shared knowledge and values in order to safe guard against AI , climate catastrophe or simply ourselves fighting to our own destruction.
