As someone who has been into AI for over a decade - this is a great new technology and expression of human creativity. The new model actually is super cool. It is using auto-regression that was viewed as inferior for long time. It is an innovative leap forward.
The corporations and how they are handling this however makes me sick. Open AI is a shadow of what it used to be taken over by greedy monopolists as everything in modern world. That is the tragedy in this.
I still feel like AI is amazing, but man is it hard to maintain that opinion sometimes.
