UBI would be necessary to keep humanity alive but the wealthy %1 do not care about humanity and consider everyone else enemies. They want to replace wage slaves with low cost Ai humanoid robots. They don't want to pay taxes to fund UBI. Does everyone have universal healthcare, housing and food now? If they cared about humanity everyone would have basic needs met now.
