To be "that guy" : AI art is made by people, through AI tools. Sure, people don't draw AI art, but they choose what it draws and refine results until it reflects their vision. That takes talent, just not the physical kind. AI image-gen just takes the mechanical aspect out of the picture.
For the record, I'm a writer, and AI is coming for my job too.
