i want to remind you that leaders of all AI labs openly evaluating existential risk 10-20% at least. and that number mostly shaped by them want not to looking like insane ppl fueling the fire, while knowing the outcome. so it's worse. and one of the "optimistic" scenarios is where only oligarchs survive. after all labor can be replaced there is no need to have populations of millions. they will own the remaining capital. they already have almost full control over law and politicians .
